そこ soko is the place where the listener is.
そこ soko se refiere al lugar donde el oyente está.

そこは事務所じむしょです。

soko wa jimusho desu.
There is the office.
Ahí es la oficina.
Aí é o escritório.

受付うけつけはそこです。

uketsuke wa soko desu.
The reception is there.

A recepção fica aí.

あそこ asoko / あちら achira

あそこ asoko is the place far from the speaker and the listener.
あそこ asoko se refiere al lugar lejos tanto del hablante como del oyente.
あそこ asoko se refere ao local londe tanto do falante como do ouvinte.
あそこ asoko adalah tempat yang jauh dari pembicara dan lawan bicara.

あそこは大学だいがくです。

asoko wa daigaku desu.
Over there is the university.
Allí es la universidad.
Ali é a universidade
Di sana universitas.

鈴木すずきさんはあそこです。

suzuki san wa asoko desu.
Suzuki is over there.
Suzuki está allí.
Suzuki está ali.
Suzuki ada di sana.

あちらはトイレです。

achira wa toire desu.
Over there is the toilet
Allí es el baño.
Ali é o banheiro.
Di sana toilet.

階段かいだんはあちらです。

kaidan wa achira desu.
The stairs are over there.

あちら achira is more polite than あそこ asoko.
あちら achira es más cortés que あそこ asoko.
あちら achira é mais polida que あそこ asoko.
あちら achira lubih sopan daripada あそこ asoko.

 

If the speaker and the listener are in the same territory, the place where they both are is designated by the word ここ koko. In this situation, そこ soko is used for the place a little bit far from the speaker and the listener. あそこ asoko is used for the place farther than そこ soko.
Si el hablante y el oyente están en el mismo territorio, el lugar donde ambos se encuentran es designado por la palabra ここ koko. En esta situación, そこ soko se utiliza para el lugar donde un poco lejos del hablante y del oyente. あそこ asoko se utiliza para el lugar donde es más lejos que そこ soko.
Se o falante e o ouvinte estão no mesmo território, o local onde ambos se encontram é designado pela palavra ここ koko. Nesta situação, そこ soko se usa pro local onde um pouco longe do falante e do ouvinte. あそこ asoko se usa pro local onde é mais longe do que そこ soko.
Kalau pembicara dan lawan bicara berada di teritor yang sama, tempat yand mereka keduanya berada itu dipakai kosakata ここ koko. Dalam situasi ini, そこ soko dipakai untuk tempat yang sedikit jauh dari pembicara dan lawan bicara. あそこ asoko dipakai untuk tempat yang lebih jauh daripada そこ soko.
